Several schools in the Bundaberg Region run a rowing program and participate in the Head of River Series and the local Bundaberg Rowing Club regatta. While rowing is physically and mentally demanding, it is also rewarding and enjoyable. It is one of the ultimate team sports promoting lifelong friendships and camaraderie, a healthy lifestyle, and the discipline necessary for good study habits. Students and their families are encouraged to join the Bundaberg Rowing Club Inc. to access equipment and amenities available at the Bucca Rowing Facility and the Town Shed in Toonburra Street Bundaberg.
