​Bundaberg Rowing Club Inc. is affiliated with Rowing Australia and Rowing Queensland to ensure that the sport continues to thrive from the grassroots right up to winning medals at the Olympic and Paralympic Games. 

We are responsible for the participation and development of rowing in the Bundaberg region and surrounding districts.  

In 1964, long-time supporter and Patron, Dr Jack Scott sponsored the formation of the Old Oarsmen’s Association. The aim of the Association was to make a positive contribution and help build a stronger, healthier, happier and safer community in the Bundaberg Region. The Association's sponsorship for the Youth Rowing program has provided pathways for emerging elite athletes, and importantly physical activity and social engagement opportunities for youth participants in Bundaberg. The legacy of the Old Oarsmen's Association continues today with the strong partnership existing between participating schools located in the Bundaberg region and members of the Bundaberg Rowing Club Inc.
